Sentry gun Project

Sentry gun Project. I had to create a real life based sentry gun. I decided to look for my inspiration on Pinterest, where i have found multiple interesting images.

I decided to use each of the strong features of sentry guns in these images and combine them into one interesting piece. Just by looking at them I had an idea of what i want MY sentry gun to look like.

this is the final model of the turret that i want to proceed with and create in 3D.

that's the finished model of the sentry gun. I had to do few adjustments in in, mainlu i have made the turrets main support pipe shorter. And i have removed the supporting half circles at it's base because they added too much geometry to my model than the minimum amount that was set for use.

this is finished model uploaded in unreal engine and textured. To make the sentry gun rotate i had to set up a blueprint and then make a map that would allow the turret to rotate and follow character movement.
