This month's Project was a Warehouse project. I was provided with the model of a warehouse and had to work on textures to cover the model with. I had to use substance designer to create complex maps that will allow me at the end to achieve a successful texture.
I have chosen brick texture as my first task and allowed myself to be guided with YouTube tutorial. But first here is my primary source for this texture.

I have then created a complex map with some tweaks, I decided to stylize my brick wall this however was my guide.

the map is very complex and with online tutorial it took me 2 hours to achieve this end result. It is very challenging but with time spent of experimenting and getting used to using this program, creating textures is very effective, in addition that it is a less destructive way of creating textures with various outcomes, such as that it allows one to see how the surface details are presented on the end piece, how colour is used etc.

I had to upload the warehouse project from 3Ds max into a unreal engine. and to so so I had to create a script to allow it to be exported successfully. I don't like scripting but at this same time I very well understand the importance and usefulness of it.

at the and when all the parts of the warehouse were scripted and exported. i then imported them back into unreal engine into a plain level. however I realized that i had struggle with creating a mud texture for the terrain and diffusing it successfully in my unreal engine project level. I decided then to change it into a grass.

i have animated the grass to give it an effect of swaying in the wind. the overall scene looked like that.

and when i have added and textured the warehouse the scene looked even better and more presentable.

After the feedback. I have realized of my errors. I have completely messed up the scales and therefore the roof tiles look way too big compared to the brick wall, which in addition the bricks should have been much bigger. and i guess i got too hasty with the textures and i have put in one texture that i have realized was more suitable for a pavement than a wall, therefore i need to pay more close attention to presentation and esthetics.
