Hey HO!!!

Hahahha hey there sailor! the theme is GALLEONS!!! yeppie some interesting work time to start. Some concept to that!!! So after a little bit of ressearch and about an hour looking at different types of galleons throughout different ages I thought I'll mix in some aero dynamics from 21st century boats and a little bit- meaning mast from old styled gaqlleons...and the sails let's say a bit from a fairy tale.

So Time for some sketches!!! well more like first developped outlines of the different designs galleons, and the final choosen one that appealed to me the most!

so...moved into free hand drawings and then into a 3D model to then capture 3 point perspective of my galleon and proceed to drawing it in photoshop!

Roughly that's the shape of the hull! Damn It came out better than i predicted. So proud of it!!!

Now off into more detailed design...

yeah quite a few designs, but i had to figure out which color would be most visible to draw over in photoshop. And because i was working on my old crappy bamboo tablet who every now an then had pen-to-tablet connection jams. Caused my angry outburtst every now an then, but hey after 5 hours of detailed drawing here we are!
