Treasure chest Texture

texturing took me actually ages, especially because of my damn perfectionism that will be the death of me. Anyway, I tried to aim for something simplicit but at this same time i wanted my chest to look rather awesome, therefore I used dark but not too dark wood for the sides, and metal frame around it...

however during the process I realized that the gold texture I worked on I didn't saved from university computer and when finishing work I had no time to create new one so I improvised using one quickly off of the website. I shall upload finished chest later with recovered texture applied on.

So over all some final screen shoots of the chest.

Personally I feel that I could improve the look of the metal and perhaps make the jewel in 3D so hopefully I'll try to work on it when time allows. Also I included a link as a reference to the texture I have used from the website.
